St. Luke’s Sugar Land Hospital staff participated in a “Blessing of the Hands”

As a faith based hospital system, St. Luke’s Sugar Land Hospital staff participated in a “Blessing of the Hands” ceremony on October 9th, the day before the opening of the hospital. Episcopal priests representing each St. Luke’s facility participated, including St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, St. Luke’s Woodlands Hospital and St. Luke’s Sugar Land Hospital. After employees met for the opening prayer in the hospital rotunda, clergy visited each floor, offering spiritual encouragement and blessing each individual’s hands. Upon request, they also provided a special dedication and prayer for each employee.
