St. Luke's Sugar Land Hospital participated with the American Heart Association at the Go Red Girlfriend Health & Wellness Conference for African American Women on Saturday, April 18, 2009.  The event took place at the Missouri City Conference Center, and was designed to educate and empower African American women to live heart healthy lives.

St. Luke's team members provided blood pressure checks, cholesterol and glucose screenings, and hospital informational brochures to the participants.
